From a sponsored swim, to an art exhibition, climbing the tallest mountain to celebrating your birthday there are so many creative and fun ways to support Shilhay Community. You can even help us just by browsing the internet!
You may be able to run a fundraising event for us, from a sponsored run or a jumble sale to a charity auction.
Perhaps you have a skill, which you could teach, and share with our clients? We can never have too many activities to offer, so please do come forward.

- Are you interested in property investment? Would you be able to make your property available to us for the use of our clients? It is a really effective way of giving real support where it matters, directly to those who need it.
- Do you know someone who would be willing to donate monies, a friend or family member perhaps? Please let us know and we will send the forms.
- Do you or someone you know run a small business? Would you or they be prepared to sponsor an activity or a piece of equipment?

Marathon Fund.
Completing a Marathon takes commitment; the individual has to undertake many personal challenges in order to achieve the end goal of crossing the finishing line for the prize awaiting.
The 'Marathon Fund' was initiated in 2007 following the fundraising efforts of Shilhay's Resettlement & Development Manager Ian Webber, Shilhay's Meaningful Occupation Project Manager Marc Colson and an ex-Shilhay Service User. Ian completed the 2007 London Marathon and then alongside Marc & Chris completed Exeter's Great West Run in the first ever Shilhay Community running team.
The money raised from these two running events is in a dedicated fund for Shilhay Service Users that want to complete their own 'marathon achievement'. We need help to develop this fund.
