Shilhay Community
Our vision is that all people should have access to good quality accommodation suitable for their needs, and real opportunities to achieve their full potential.
Our purpose is to enable people who are homeless or vulnerably housed to access and sustain accommodation, training and employment in order to improve their quality of life.
Exeter Shilhay Community Ltd, a not-for-profit independent charity in Exeter, has been working with people who are homeless and vulnerably housed since 1967.
We have a successful track-record in the provision of
-
Accommodation
-
Health & Welfare
-
Education & Training
We operate Gabriel House, Exeter's primary resettlement project for homeless men and couples. Gabriel House will also consider referrals for women. We also operate Exeter's Meaningful Occupation Project and a further three city-based accommodation projects.
