Shilhay Community is a not for profit charity supporting people who are homeless and vulnerably housed or in Recovery from substance and/or alcohol misuse in Exeter. We manage the Support & Recovery Services within four Community Resettlement Projects, Street Outreach provision under the No Second Night Out initiative and a domestic contract within Gabriel House. We were established in 1971 as the incorporated successor to an emergency basic provisions service that was originally set up in 1967 for homeless people by the Exeter Diocese in partnership with the Simon Community.
